Through close coordination between the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the relevant units of the Ministry, within the framework of complex measures carried out in recent days, 34 foreign nationals have been expelled from Georgia.
The following nationals were expelled from Georgia: India, Turkey, Turkmenistan, China, Egypt, Iraq, Russia, Iran, Jordan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, and Morocco—a total of 34 citizens.
In accordance with the applicable legislation, the expelled individuals have been banned from entering the country. The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the authority responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. One of its competencies is to identify foreign nationals residing in Georgia without a legal basis and to carry out their expulsion from Georgia.
